🔍 Session Context
During the last session Sondjah recommended to the Team to concentrate on building their own personal FOUNDATIONS and those of the TEAM, before continuing to work on the syllabus and the Family Learning Center (FLC).
During this session we have reviewed HOW WE APPLY these 7 core values within the Team and discovered that as a Team we failed on many aspects!
📅 Today’s Agenda
Today the agenda is to concentrate on analysing ourselves against the 7 core values. Sondjah have said at the last session: develop yourself, know yourself first, then, knows the team better before you progress further.
💬 Team Discussion Before Sondjah’s Arrival
David & Marthe: So that’s an interesting subject, because you know we have a dilemma that which we could take. Some Team members seem frustrated by the Friday meeting progresses. So, it could be a perfect opportunity to start with this subject. Analyze the situation against the 7 core values and make a decision about which way to move forward for the team.
David: Exactly right. I agree completely. Here we are really going to realize how we are applying those values to integrate a team, to lead a team, to keep a team together. And I think the equality issue is an important issue. In Juan’s case [Geoff’s case too], well, empathy with passion, growth, et cetera, those are great values to apply right now. We can use this as a real case.
However, it is very important, I think, that Juan [& Geoff] feel embraced by the team, supported by the team, sustained by the team, because Juan & Geoff have been loyal men to the team and have worked constantly and have always put their best efforts so I think, as a team we should recognize their value and encourage them to grow with the team and for that the team should have a goal of growth, a very clear growth goal.
Because, growth goal gives cohesion to all of us. That growth goal allows us to equalize equality. To help us empathically. That goal of growth gives us a guide, one that allows the other values to harmonize, because we already have a purpose.
Group: Do we have Sondjah available to introduce few words?
Kona: What I’m getting simply is: we always have a connection but Sondjah wishes us to continue on our discussion as per our agenda.
Jacques: So, let’s concentrate today on building our own personal foundation around the 7 core values and then those of the team.
Kona: This would be a way for this team to learn more and to discover the bias and assumptions that you bring from your life experience. This is part of the foundation that has been missing.
Jacques: Just as a reminder from Sondjah through Daniel: NEC #34, Nov. 17, 2014
Sondjah: A foundation of the three core values: QUALITY of LIFE to ourself and to others, GROWTH, and EQUALITY.
You have the three core values of social sustainability; they are infallible; they are self-evident; they were given to you bluntly and overtly and deliberately many years ago. You can use those three values as the foundation, the backboard against which you can throw all ideas and concepts of social evolution and development against, to prove and discern whether these new plans are correct, workable and contribute to sustainability, or not.
Plus in the NEC #36, Dec. 8, 2014 The spiritual meaning of “love, compassion and empathy”
Machiventa about LOVE
Love is not a word that can be thrown around easily or lightly; it manifests itself in real activities that can be identified through observation of compassion, caring, empathy and so on. These emotions will become part and parcel of the development of the operation of design teams that are co-creative and even those that are secular in nature. This is where the primary value of equality comes into play. Very few mortals on Urantia, on earth, truly see equality in empathic terms. It is hard for them to value others as they value themselves; this is simply a platitude that they hear over and over again.
Jacques: If we can take each one of these values and analyze: how was life valued or not valued? How is the quality of life valued or not valued? Where was growth supported or not supported? Where was equality supported or not supported? How do we bring QUALITY of LIFE to ourself and to others? GROWTH? And EQUALITY? etc.
💔 Team Reflection on Departing Members
Kona: Because one [two] of our members has left. How does that support life? The Quality of their life? They obviously left because they were not treated with love, compassion, and empathy!
So, whatever happened they might have been maybe felt also that they wasn’t equally been treated in the case of Juan because of the language barrier. His Growth wasn’t honored because he was growing beyond the group looking at new ways of doing things.
So maybe, out the weakness there was the lack of love, compassion and empathy from us, in treating the new information.
Because, he felt [Juan, but also Geoff, Stephane too] we were on the wrong road because we weren’t measuring everything against the 7 values. But how could basically people were all growing in their own way people were saying I want to do this part what if it goes that way? He wasn’t treated with Love compassion and empathy. It was treated a little bit harshly.
So, I guess the problems are: with the love, compassion, empathy, the value emotions.
So, I would like to start by demonstrating, how we are going to respond.
Jacques: Regarding the barrier of language for David & Juan, we could share more documents & emails into both languages. You know the language is not a weak point. It’s not a problem. Languages allows diversity it is a must!
However, when we have a problem of language, we need to acknowledge it.
David: When we design a page or we do an email, or Juan does one. We’re making an extra effort to be able to participate within a conversation dominated by people who speak English so somebody writes in Spanish. For us to try to think in English, it’s not an easy subject.
Kona: We need to feel concern and then to have empathy for those who were trying to do something of quality within the guidelines that we had discussed as a group in order to create equality for the group.
We need to align ourselves with the values that we claim to espouse and how we responded and in that way, I was proud of our group and how we responded. I’m still quite concerned and have empathy and compassion for our comrades who are not here and who have been impacted.
That’s how I perceive. This conversation or dialogue can progress. Part of that is I had a conversation with Daniel this morning and this is the sticking point in the design team process. We begin to identify our biases and values.
David: This is about to see how we each apply the 7 values. In Juan’s case, that’s what we’re doing, I mean, this is a good start. We are very flattered because we are feeling that we are being recognized and that there is empathy. And that empathy allows us to feel like an equal.
David: There are a lot of people who are not aware and they have an intellectual conception only, but they haven’t come to empathize that’s different. So that’s what I could add to what you’ve observed. I think it’s a very important point and I just want to emphasize that our participation as Latinos within these more global communities that have a common language in English is not a simple issue it is a challenging topic and we appreciate being empathetic. Thank you very much.
In the future we will speak many more languages. So, I think if we are empathic from now on and we put ourselves as we say in Mexico, we put ourselves in other people’s shoes. It’s going to be a lot more work, it’s more planning, but the effect of communication is more powerful.
David: One of the reasons why I left the group was because, among several reasons, but one of them was precisely when we were looking on a big excel sheet the 9 questions, everything was in English it was 5 voices speaking in English one over the other moving back and forth through these copying and pasting copying and pasting everything in English and I didn’t understand. So, I said: what am I doing in this place? It’s not possible to work it this way. I proposed that we use a platform like MIRO post-it.
It is, of course, everything has a learning curve. That’s more work. It’s more complicated, but over time it gets easier faster, and a lot of people who don’t speak the languages, we appreciate that means that when there are complex dynamics to deal with and we have to talk to in 2 or 3 languages it’s very important that we choose a universal method where it’s easier for everyone to identify the roles and tasks that everyone has to perform within that dynamic.
In particular, I’m saying this as an example of several months ago, of the importance of language management to be able to get the wealth of those who don’t when we only speak in one language and there are people who don’t speak it. They will hardly tell you that they don’t understand something for reasons perhaps of vanity.
Kona: This is a lack of capacity of the group concerning this issue.
Jacques: For me it’s so important that we have this international Community.
It’s why often I said to Byron [Mission Urantia group], why not to invite Chinese as well? Because it’s another mentality. Remember the Correcting Time plan is for the WHOLE PLANET! Not for one continent.
Marthe: I also want to make the link with our lack of empathy because of our biases and also, the quality of life. I supposed Juan feels alone and isolated, plus misunderstood so, we have reduced his quality of life.
Just yesterday when we were in the other presentation [for Mission Urantia] the South Korean person dropped very quickly. I’m sure he must also be experiencing the same problems of having a different language that we not catering for. So, it is the language issue is of primary importance. I’m so grateful that it’s being raised here.
Are we honoring our own values in our life?
David: I’m probably one of the people most empathetic to Juan for geographical reasons. I feel sympathy for him too, but something I wasn’t feeling for him was his desire of growth and how, in that desire for growth in the expression of his soul. I hadn’t considered the 7 values to define a posture with which to approach any particular situation. I think, thank to God, I’m here at this moment. This is a great lesson for me.
To be able to consider in all important decisions in my life. These 7 values, especially now I give an example in Urantia Mission, that we are working on an executive structure and there are big changes that are starting.
I think I was looking at these values in a more intellectual way and thanks to this topic with Juan, I feel that was the lesson number ONE!
Marthe: I am thinking for myself, how I am honoring my own life? But also how I am NOT honoring my own life? For some months I had some health issues with my hands, I consulted doctors, but I have not done anything about it… So, I am not honoring my own life and my quality of life for example! So, yes I certainly have a lot of work to do!
Jacques: We had quite a long discussion between ourselves, we could ask if Sondjah has some words for us now.
Kona: I’ll check in. I know that I’m feeling some tremendous deep emotion regarding the conversation. It’s, deeply moving to have us engaged in real conversations about these values and how they impact us for me personally. It’s deeply moving, but that’s also usually an indicator that a celestial is closely by.
David: For a moment I thought values were for others. For me to treat others accordingly. But now that I’m listening to Marthe, I realize that I have to treat myself with these values. that’s another point for me, very telling of pursuing my own quality of life.
To seek, to live, to seek, to grow, to seek, to be empathetic and compassionate with myself. It seems to me that an approach that I did not have in my film, So I feel very satisfied I will not only try to apply these 7 values in my dealings with other people but apply them in my personal life as well.
David: In my own life. So, thank you very much. Marta, for what you just commented. Fabulous. Okay, one of my personal, saviour messages for many years at least 2 decades is from the scripture in Matthew. To where Jesus is teaching, love your neighbours as yourself.
You cannot love your neighbours unless you love yourself first, because you have no capacity to love someone else if you do not first love yourself. That has been a tremendous personal life lesson, something I use in my own life coaching and you know just myself, I have to love me and understand who I am in Christ and the love that God has for me personally before I can extend that to others.
So, what I was gonna to say is that the 7 dimensions of human development is really when you say Martha, how were you treating your own life so you must start with emotionally, physically, intellectually, mentally, socially, culturally, and spiritually. So, it is so important. For us to do that every day in order for me to love you better, like you are loved by the Celestials.
Are you loving all these parts of yourself? Are you improving yourself intellectually? Are your emotions in order? So, yeah, it’s in credit, so it’s not just my life, but all these aspects of my life. And everybody else’s life. So, obviously we have done damage emotionally to Juan, even intellectually because of what he did to share his talents which were not accepted? And also culturally and so on at many levels. We have we dishonoured him…
Because it’s written here, you see, our foundation affects all the 7 spheres of all the of the human existence. What do you think? If now that we are understanding these new dimensions of the 7 values, not only in an intellectual way, but we are experiencing them. Thanks to this event that we lived with Juan and to the testimonies that Marta has told each one of us.
It’s just a suggestion, how about if we put together a little 1,200 word document? How would we explain in a simple and straightforward way how we are experiencing it right now? How would we explain this? [Marthe proposed to prepare such a document and share it with us].
Group: Yes, this would be a good exercise in how we are applying our knowledge, What we have learned, How we have discovered it process it by which process and then share it. There was no way for us to share this completely without having the experience of embodying it. So, we will take the time to let it percolate slowly, thoroughly and then this is exactly what we need. The missing piece the ability to give it to others, because they have not yet been discovered nor yet embodied these values. It’s been her. Even for us we have lived some of these values subconsciously, unconsciously.
Kona: Many times in our lives, it’s the golden rule to love thy neighbour as thyself.
Jacques: David is back [after internet disruption] so, we were going to ask some conclusion from Sondjah.
🌟 Sondjah’s Message
Sondjah: Hello, this is Sondjah and I am here with you. This is quite remarkable actually and quite pleasant to watch you go through this process of exploring these deeper values. We are smiling quite a bit on this side of the veil, very intrigued with the process and your aha moments and clarity!
Great work, honestly, that you are doing here to discover yourselves. We can only hope that this process is a beginning of an awakening or an awareness of what is latent within you because these qualities reside within each of you.
They have always resided. Within each of you. The only difference is your awareness of how they are operating or not operating. And this is simply a clearing of the mechanism in your brain your biology and your energy fields.
There is more clarity in your planet now for these things to resonate appropriately. So, we take great joy and we hope that you take great joy in this awakening process. Because this is the beginning of the conduit that you are for the rest of the planet. As you, who are so grounded in these awakened to the process, then you create an opening for others in your sphere of influence and across the globe. You are literally shifting the collective consciousness of the planet by doing this very simple task.
So, it seems to be foundational in the work that you are doing, but it is quite necessary for you to continue to do this on a regular basis. Even as the foundation is laid and you build the bigger cathedral as we discussed before. It is quite necessary for you to continue securing your foundation as the building grows inside. Now if you have any questions, I’m happy to entertain them for you today.
Group: Thank you Sondjah, thank you Kona. Sondjah it is Just nice to have you here.
Jacques: As Marthe and David have just said, maybe it is time for each of us to start answering the questions on building our own personal foundation around the 7 core values and then those of the team.
Another subject of our concern before each of us “leave” this planet is, we can write & prepare some training material on: How to discover yourself? How this team build up this consciousness about their values and the Team values one by one? If you want to comment Sondjah we would be pleased.
Sondjah: So, you have clearly found the next step in the process. Because once you have discovered a process for finding these values operative in your life, then it becomes your responsibility to train others. Before you were intellectualizing these values and how can you remotely even possibly explain something that you have not yet awaken to resonate within yourself. So, this is a positive step forward.
But please take the time to incorporate this process thoroughly in your lives before you take on another intellectual process.
David: I have a question. In everyday life to ordinary people, what is the importance of the 7 values to apply for them in their personal life.
Sondjah: The question is clear, this is Sondjah, the response is this. This is why it is important for you to take the time to embody this process. Because then it will become more clear to you how to express this to others. It’s not an overnight process. You have simply discovered the 1st step. So, between now and our next meeting, perhaps if you every day are taking note of how these things are showing up in your life.
How you are using the values in your decision making. You make a personal note. What did I do? How did I do that? What was my response? In what situation was this important?
Do that, you’ll begin to create a template for yourself, organically, naturally. That might seem challenging to you at the moment. Does this make sense?
David: Muchas gracias, es muy claro, This is what I needed to hear!
Jacques: Any other questions for Sondjah?
Marthe: I guess, yes, I do have a question for Sondjah. It’s not an easy one. How do we go about changing ourselves. I know part of the answer is through conscious contact with our indwelling spirit. But, how do we learn, un-learn habits?
Sondjah: My dear Marthe, it is more simple than you think. The first thing that you are doing is to become aware of those things that you are not pleased with that are not taking care of yourself.
The second is to align your will with the father’s will for you. The father’s will is that you have the highest quality of life. The most abundant love and all of the resources that you have access to, for your good. If you will take the time to resonate with your thought adjuster and indwelling spirit. You will align yourself with the will of the Father for you to have these things. And the changes will be most apparent that you need to make. Healing will take place in your heart, your mind, your muscle memory. You will begin to transform. And it will be quite remarkable for you to watch this transformation even in yourself. But these things must happen first. Because no change happens on your planet until it happens with you.
Even the smallest transformation has a ripple effect and tremendous impact on your planet. So, do not take yourself lightly or as insignificant. The power that you have and that resides within you affects every person you come into contact with in each moment of your day. So, imagine yourself completely aligned with the will of the Father and living in that space. And imagine that you were a candle and now you are a bright light. How will that transformation impact the world in which you live? Even in the small space that you are. That is the significance of you aligning yourself with the Father’s will, which is also to acknowledge who you are. And to take care of yourself in this way.
Marthe: Thank you very much Sondjah, that’s a beautiful answer.
Jacques: Thank you Sondjah for reminding us to discover ourselves first. So, next week I think, the first thing we have to do every day, morning and night is to review our day and analyze how we are acting according to the values or where we are acting against.
Sondjah: There is more that I would like to share. It is extremely important that you embrace your brother Juan with tremendous compassion and love. To heal the deep wound that he has experienced. It will be important that you bring him back into the fold as a brother with deep compassion and love surrounding him. So that you can demonstrate the operation of these core values in your team. And, even Bea, who is not here today, perhaps there are some reasons she may or may not have expressed.
So, remember, each member of your team needs to understand that these core values are operating among you. So perhaps you take the time to evaluate. How each team member may have perceived the actions of the team in a similar way that you have evaluated the situation with Juan. You might be surprised at what you find.
David: Muchas gracias.
Sondjah: Anything else?
Jacques: Yes, you spoke about Juan & Bea, but what about Geoff [and even Stephane] who are not participated since a while at this Friday sessions? How do we proceed with them. Do we have to proceed the same way as Juan!
Sondjah: Well, the electricity is with Geoff, so to speak, and so the electric current that is through you through to him must be repaired. There is a gap in this connectivity. It is a minor gap, a minor detail, but there is a gap and so perhaps it would benefit the whole team to once again evaluate each situation as it comes to mind.
The growth of your team is emphatically important again to how these values operate within an organization. Because if they cannot function here at the core, from the original trainer [here Sondjah refers to Daniel Raphael], so to speak, then how can they operate anywhere else in the world? You are a unique Team in that you have learned from the source. Much like the disciples learn from Christ. They learn from Christ Michael’s walk on the planet, on how to operate with each other. They each came with their own biases and their opinions and their life experiences. They came from different life backgrounds.
They, brought that into the team setting, and from there, they had to learn how to break down all of their own personal assumptions in order to operate under this new teaching. You similarly have received a new teaching. You are awakening and becoming aware of the values and how they operate in your life, even though they have always been inside of humanity. So, it is extremely important that you are able to embody these values and become aware of how they are operating within your entire Team. So, it would be meaningful and appropriate for you to check in with each of the 10 team members. In order to do this similar evaluation. You can only benefit from having done this.
Jacques: Thank you, this is very clear for us, so we will recontact the team, in order to make this early electrical connection too be sure that we are working as one Team. [Post mtg note: email sent to each members Juan, Geoff & Stephane who missed several sessions]
Sondjah: I think you have received the message then! Our heart connection with you is very strong. We feel very deeply your commitment to this process. Your love and compassion is expansive and explosive. We appreciate that so much from you from this side. Your heart connection again with us is very strong. We operate through you and through your heart connections with your fellow Team members and humanity. So, these connections are extremely important to us as they are to you.
Group: Thank you, Sondjah, thank you, Muchas gracias.
Sondjah: It is. It is my pleasure to be here with you today. Any other questions?
Group: Not from our side.
Sondjah: Thank you again so much from the team here. And gratitude to your team. We are one team altogether. Thank you.
Group: Thank you Sondjah, au-revoir, thank you Kona
Kona/Sondjah: You’re welcome!
