📖 Topics Discussed

  • 🔹 Beginning to understand the difficulties of working in a team, and overcoming the challenges of working in a design team.
  • 🔹 Using this team as a whetstone for working with others, learning skills that will be useful for the rest of one’s life.
  • 🔹 These are especially useful skills for Family Learning Centers, and is on the cutting edge of design team effectiveness.
  • 🔹 Values-oriented teamwork.
  • 🔹 Use of technology is good, but only if it leads to human-centered design.
  • 🔹 This process will always start with an initiator in a community, talking to neighbours, schools, community clubs.
  • 🔹 The vision is to have a functioning Family Learning Center, teaching a way of being, the essential parts of being human, and teaching basic things such as humility, patience, kindness, tolerance.
  • 🔹 We ourselves must model this good behaviour.
  • 🔹 Example of Japanese Culture: teaching young children self-forgetfulness, such as giving up seats on a bus to an older person or a pregnant woman.
  • 🔹 The importance of collecting best practices.
  • 🔹 David offered to start a pilot Family Learning Center in Mexico, inviting Spirit to bring together the resources.
  • 🔹 Need for a date, a plan, and a budget.
  • 🔹 Bea offered to share a methodology that she has in her head.
  • 🔹 We need to build a roadmap and a website, using contemporary tools.
  • 🔹 We will also need a sales pitch and a presentation, and seek seed funding.
  • 🔹 We need to gather best practices in child psychology, sociology, and other fields, across different age groups.
  • 🔹 We need to develop a business plan and a franchise model, with the “basic bones of understanding.”
  • 🔹 We will need different layers for different developmental stages.
  • 🔹 The aim is to ensure that children who leave families will know how to raise their children who are confident, satisfied, and have self-worth.
  • 🔹 It was emphasised that it is not our task to heal people or children who have been abused or neglected. They will be referred to other experts in healing.
  • 🔹 Family Learning Centres are not designed to heal people’s problems.
  • 🔹 Teaching people dignity is one of the best acts of reconciliation.
  • 🔹 Daniel described the “knowing” he has had a few times in his life about the resources to start such a project, and noted that the celestials are very interested in our discussions about the costing of such a project.
  • 🔹 We need to ask our guardian angels to assist us in decision making about certain decisions we must take.
  • 🔹 We need to define the goals and the methodology, so that anyone in any part of the world who wants to do something similar can do it.
  • 🔹 Can we do this simultaneously in France, Venezuela, Africa, Mexico?
  • 🔹 David suggested that we set a date for opening the first Family Learning Center, both “clicks and bricks,” and do a back-casting. December 25, 2025.
  • 🔹 That will teach us what steps we need to follow, and our celestial friends will assist.
  • 🔹 Bea offered to contribute a big-picture scaffolding.
  • 🔹 We need to start with baby steps: What will we be teaching? Who will we be teaching? What is the curriculum?
  • 🔹 David has a ‘go-to-market’ plan: We need a business mindset, a methodology, a method of research, we need to do “backcasting,” with all the necessary steps, using AI, and working with a chain of production.

🚀 Next Steps

  • 🔹 How do we get access to Miro? Does one of us need a paid account, or do each of us need a paid account?
  • 🔹 Marthe to ask Vicky about her access to Miro Board.
  • 🔹 Bea to share her scaffold for Learning Centers.
  • 🔹 David to share his plan when it is ready.
