Definition:
Self-improvement is the intentional, values-guided process of refining one’s character, attitudes, behaviors, and understanding in order to become a more mature, compassionate, wise, and spiritually aligned individual.
In the teachings of the Correcting Time, Daniel Raphael, and Machiventa Melchizedek, self-improvement is seen not as self-centered enhancement, but as self-transformation—the continuous cooperation of human free will with the Thought Adjuster to develop the morontia soul.

Self-improvement is the personal application of the Core Value of Growth, animated by compassion for oneself, empathy for others, and love for God and humanity.
