Blessing

Definition:
A Blessing is an intentional infusion of spiritual goodwill, divine encouragement, or loving energy bestowed upon an individual, group, or situation. It may originate from a human heart aligned with the Father’s love, or from celestial personalities who minister upliftment, strength, and guidance.

Cosmic and Celestial Context:
Within the Teaching Mission and the broader Correcting Time, blessings are often described as cooperative acts between mortals and celestials. When a human sincerely prays or intends goodwill, celestial ministers—Seraphim, Melchizedeks, Magisterial Sons, and others—can amplify and carry that intention into meaningful spiritual influence.

A blessing is therefore co-creative:

  • The human provides the free-will intention of love,

  • The celestials provide the spiritual circuitry and energy to magnify it.

Nature of a Blessing:
A blessing is never coercive. It respects human freedom and operates gently, supporting the individual’s highest good in harmony with divine will. It may manifest as:

Purpose:
The purpose of a blessing is not merely comfort; it is upliftment. It encourages transformation, spiritual maturation, and a deeper alignment with Michael’s path of loving service on Urantia.

Relation to the Seven Core Values:

  • Life: Blessings affirm the dignity and sacred worth of every person.

  • Equality: They are given freely to all, without preference or hierarchy.

  • Growth: Every blessing carries the seed of advancement—of character, wisdom, or spirit.

  • Quality of Life: By lifting burdens and renewing hope, blessings enhance well-being.

  • Compassion: A blessing expresses a heartfelt desire to alleviate suffering.

  • Empathy: To bless another is to feel with them and to call divine support into their life.

  • Love: Ultimately, every true blessing is an act of unconditional love flowing through the giver.

Celestial Perspective:
Celestial teachers often remind mortals that blessings are not rare gifts reserved for special moments. They are a natural part of spiritual communion. As consciousness grows, the ability to bless others becomes a daily expression of partnership with Spirit. Machiventa frequently highlights that blessings become most powerful when combined with intentional service and sincere goodwill.
