Definition:
Forgiveness is the conscious, compassionate release of resentment, anger, and judgment toward oneself or another, allowing healing, freedom, and renewed connection to love and values.
In the teachings of the Correcting Time, Daniel Raphael, and Machiventa Melchizedek, forgiveness is a transformational spiritual act—a choice that aligns the individual with divine mercy, heals emotional wounds, restores relational harmony, and frees the soul to continue its growth without the burden of bitterness.

Forgiveness does not erase responsibility or consequences; rather, it opens the heart, dissolves hostility, and restores the flow of love and empathy.
