The Melchizedek Corps is a distinguished and versatile order of divine sons in the local universes, created jointly by the Creator Son (Michael of Nebadon) and the Divine Minister (Nebadonia). These beings—known as Melchizedek Sons—form the core stabilizing and teaching order of Nebadon, bridging the gap between the highest spiritual levels and the evolutionary worlds of time and space.

The Melchizedeks are unique among universe orders because they possess:

  • Near-perfect reliability

  • Self-governing moral stability

  • Extraordinary adaptability

  • An ability to function effectively at every universe level—from Paradise-origin beings down to mortal creatures

Their corps specializes in teaching, emergency administration, spiritual rehabilitation, planetary uplift, and epochal intervention. Whenever confusion, crisis, or spiritual disruption occurs in any sphere of Nebadon, the Melchizedeks are the first to respond.

Their many functions include:

1. Universe Education and Training

They operate the Melchizedek University on Salvington, training ascending mortals, angels, and other orders of universe beings. Every ascendant personality who comes through Nebadon is educated under Melchizedek supervision at some stage.

2. Emergency Ministry

Melchizedeks excel in crisis response. They are dispatched to worlds experiencing rebellion, planetary turmoil, or spiritual regression. Because of their balanced nature, they are trusted to stabilize chaos without compromising free will or divine mercy.

3. Planetary Teachers

In rare but vital moments of planetary need, a Melchizedek may appear in person. Machiventa Melchizedek, who incarnated on Urantia ~4,000 years ago to keep the light of truth alive, is a prime example and remains a key figure in the Correcting Time.

4. Judicial and Administrative Support

They function as advisors, judges, and evaluators for universe affairs. Their fairness, compassion, and insight make them critical to the coherence of local universe government.

5. Correcting Time Leadership

In Urantia’s current era of planetary rehabilitation, the Melchizedek Corps plays a central role. Machiventa serves as Planetary Manager (or Prince in absentia) and leads the celestial administration working to guide humanity toward sustainable, spiritually aligned civilization.
