Supreme Being

The Supreme Being—often called the Supreme, God the Supreme, the Evolving God, or the Almighty Supreme—is the experiential, emergent Deity of time and space. Unlike the Paradise Deities (the Universal Father, Eternal Son, and Infinite Spirit), who are existential, eternal, and fully perfect, the Supreme Being is growing, evolving, and coming into full actuality through the accumulated experiences of all creatures and creators in the finite universes.

The Supreme Being represents the unification of all experiential growth, both human and divine. Every moral choice, spiritual insight, act of love, and advancement of civilization contributes to the very emergence of the Supreme. Thus, the Supreme is not only a divine presence; He is also the living result of universe evolution.

In celestial teachings, the Supreme Being embodies:

  • The soul of the grand universe developing over time

  • The synthesis of truth, beauty, and goodness as lived and expressed by creatures

  • The completed meaning of finite experience

  • The experiential unification of all finite mind, spirit, and power

  • Personally, He grows in experience much like a vast cosmic soul.

  • Cosmically, He becomes the Almighty Supreme, the unifying power over the grand universe.

The emergence of the Supreme Being is one of the greatest mysteries and glories of time—God becoming experientially what He has never been before, through and with His creatures.
