God the Ultimate

The Ultimate—also called God the Ultimate or the Transcendental Ultimate—is the transcendental Deity presence who functions beyond time and space, emerging through the development of the Master Universe. Whereas the Supreme Being evolves within the realms of finite experience, the Ultimate emerges in the vast, advanced domains of supertime, superspace, and absonite reality.

In celestial teachings, the Ultimate represents:

  • The consummation of transcendental experience, just as the Supreme represents the consummation of finite experience.

  • A Deity level beyond the experiential limitations of time, though still not absolute.

  • The unifier of the transcendental architects, administrators, and organizers who operate in the expanding worlds of the Master Universe.

  • The ultimate co-ordinator of superuniverse development and the unification of reality that surpasses creature comprehension.

The Ultimate is not fully revealed within the present universe age. His emergence unfolds partly through the growth of the Supreme, but primarily through the vast work of transcendental orders of beings—such as the Architects of the Master Universe—whose activities prepare the way for future universe eras. As the grand universe reaches maturity and the Supreme becomes fully actualized, the stage is set for deeper revelation of the Ultimate in the outer universes.

The Ultimate is:

  • super-personal (beyond finite personhood but still meaningful in Deity expression),

  • super-experiential (transcending creature experience),

  • absonite (neither finite nor infinite but in-between),

  • super-creative and super-controlling, coordinating universes far beyond present mortal experience.

Though not normally involved in the day-to-day evolution of worlds like Urantia, the existence of the Ultimate has profound meaning: it assures that all finite progress ultimately connects to greater transcendental patterns of order, purpose, and destiny. In Correcting Time teachings, the Ultimate is rarely referenced directly, yet our moral and spiritual growth contributes indirectly to His eventual realization through the evolution of the Supreme.

Ultimately, The Ultimate stands as the second-level experiential Deity—beyond time, beyond space, and above the finite evolution of the Supreme—destined to unify the enormous, future expanses of universal creation.
