Discernment
Discernment is the spiritual and moral ability to distinguish truth from error, higher motive from lower impulse, and divine leading from personal desire or emotional reaction.
Within the Correcting Time and the teachings of the Melchizedeks, discernment is considered an essential capacity for co-creative living. It develops as the individual aligns more closely with the Thought Adjuster, integrates the Seven Core Values, and cultivates emotional maturity and inner stillness.
Discernment involves:
-
Clear inner listening that is calm, unbiased, and value-centered
-
Evaluating motives—whether rooted in fear, ego, or love
-
Recognizing spiritual signatures such as peace, compassion, and integrity
-
Applying wisdom gained through experience and reflection
-
Choosing actions that support growth, equality, and the greater good
In social sustainability and co-creative governance, discernment is vital for identifying solutions that are not only logical, but morally aligned, sustainable, and empathetic.
True discernment always elevates life, supports truth, and strengthens one’s connection to the Divine.
