A Learning Family Center is a concept that emerges from the teachings of the celestial administrators—particularly from Machiventa Melchizedek and the Correcting Time framework—as part of the broader social sustainability initiative on Urantia (Earth). It represents a community-based environment where families, individuals, and facilitators come together to learn, grow, and evolve in harmony with the seven core values of social sustainability: Life, Equality, Growth, Quality of Life, Compassion, Empathy, and Love.
Humanity has reached another turning point. Just as the World War II generation faced existential crises, we now stand before interconnected challenges: climate instability, inequality, population pressures, and the depletion of Earth’s resources.
Too often these issues are treated in isolation. Yet the solution depends on the combined choices of individuals, families, and communities—choices rooted in kindness, fairness, and responsibility. Celestial guidance reminds us: extremes of wealth and poverty cannot endure; every child, especially every girl, deserves education; and sustainable families are essential for the flourishing of our planet.
Family is often the first place where individuals learn values such as empathy, cooperation, responsibility, and respect. It is within the family structure that foundational emotional, cognitive, and social skills are developed. Whether in traditional nuclear households, extended families, or diverse, modern configurations, the family serves as the basic social unit that influences individuals’ behavior and sense of belonging throughout life.
In a world of rapid change, increasing complexity, and growing interdependence, the need for ethical decision-making rooted in shared human values has never been more urgent and relevant. Social sustainability—the ability of societies to function harmoniously and endure across generations—depends not just on technology or policy, but on the moral compass guiding our choices. At the heart of this compass lie seven core values that are intrinsic to our humanity: life, equality, quality of life, personal/spiritual growth, compassion, empathy, and love. These values offer a timeless foundation for ethical decision-making and building a sustainable future.
In the teachings of Machiventa Melchizedek—especially during the Correcting Time under the guidance of Christ Michael—we are told that humanity now stands at the threshold of what he calls the Second Civilization. This concept marks an evolutionary turning point in human destiny, a profound shift toward a civilizational model rooted in the eternal values of life, equality, growth, quality of life, compassion, empathy, and love. This Second Civilization will not be imposed from above; it is born from within, through the awakening of individual and collective consciousness aligned with the will of the Universal Father.
By strengthening the mind, heart, and spirit, we become more than just capable — we become centered, compassionate, and purpose-driven. And that kind of growth leads to a life that is not only successful, but truly meaningful.
Hope is not a passive feeling, and faith is not wishful thinking. They are active, intentional mindsets that shape how we approach challenges, make decisions, and interact with the world. When rooted in persistence and aligned with meaningful action, hope and faith become powerful forces that carry us through even the most difficult times.
Equality is a fundamental principle that underpins the fair and just functioning of any society. It refers to the state in which all individuals are treated with equal dignity, respect, and opportunity, regardless of their background, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic status, or any other distinguishing factor. While the idea of equality has long been championed by philosophers, activists, and leaders throughout history, it remains a work in progress. Achieving genuine equality is essential not only for individual well-being but also for the health, stability, and advancement of entire communities.
From Chaos to Co-Creation: Machiventa’s Vision for a New Civilization Machiventa describes the imminent planetary change as the “greatest change of all” about to take place on the planet and in human civilization. This change is not only one of consciousness, as previously discussed, but also the beginning of an intentional and purposeful social transformation. […]
