Robert Wilson

I am a 78 year old disabled Vietnam Veteran where I served with the 173rd Airborne Brigade January 1968 to Aug 1969.  I have an Associate Degree in Electronics.  I have hobbies of Astronomy, Genealogy and writing. I belong to a Veterans Mental Health Council where I was Chairman for 5 years.  I have been a writer and co-editor of the Council’s Newsletter for over 10 years. I began reading Daniel’s transcripts since the NEC papers and have read most of his writings.  I am thoroughly convinced of the importance of Machiventa’s (a Celestial Being) teachings for humanity.  I live with my daughter, her husband, and my 22 and 20-year-old grandsons in Colorado, USA.

Spiritual Journey of Robert Wilson

My life’s spiritual journey began when I was young, about 8 to 10 years old. At that time, I made an attempt to contact God. I felt at that time a spiritual energy in my heart and mind.  I felt that God was real, but I knew very little about Him/Her, or about the order of the Universe, or its organization.  In my teens I was rather stagnant, not progressing much spiritually.  When I went to college at the University of Colorado, I became interested in Jesus and found like-minded individuals in Campus Crusade for Christ, a nation-wide non-denominational Christian group.  I learned more about Jesus but felt something was not right.  I did not know what. I quit college and joined the Army as I had 3 years of ROTC in High School and 2 years of ROTC in College.  While in the Army I had a roommate who was from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, (LDS), and he asked me if I wanted to learn about the Mormons. I had a cousin who was Mormon, so I said OK. I learned about modern continuing revelation through a prophet and personal spiritual guidance.  This seemed to make some sense, so I joined. A couple of things bothered me, first that revelation came only through a few leaders, and that they believed Christ died for our sins. I tentatively accepted this but felt uneasy. I felt spirituality was mostly individual but could find nothing better than the LDS faith.   I heard voices, both male and female, but they were both dark and light, to my perception.  This was in the early 1970’s and it was confusing to me.  I made this known to my military leadership and they put me in the hospital and labeled me schizophrenic.  At one point I felt attacked by darkness and it affected my senses.  I had what they called visual, auditory, tactile and olfactory hallucinations.  I had these for several years, but they largely went away by the late 1980’s.

I did not know what was going on but in 1992 I heard about the Urantia Book and began reading it.  It made a lot of sense to me and in detail explained a lot of what I believed.  This book explained the situation on this world in a way I could understand.  I learned about the nature of God.  I learned of Christ Michael leading our Local Universe Nebadon and His coming to Earth (Urantia) as Jesus.  I learned about the Lucifer rebellion that affected our world and 36 others.  I learned we were in quarantine from the Celestial circuits.  I learned that Christ did not die for our sins, as a just God would not subject a son to the errors of others and that people could overcome their errors by changing their lives, and not because a Celestial Son paid for such by His own blood. The notion of animal sacrifice was not God’s way.  Such was the error of the Lucifer rebellion mindset. Later, about 2003, I heard of the Correcting Time and the Teaching Mission, and I knew Celestials were re-establishing contact.  I heard about the adjudication of Lucifer, Satan and Caligastia in the 1980’s. This made a great change possible.  A change that I partially experienced.  I learned we have the ability, as individuals, to experience a relationship with God and other Celestials.  We can use this connection to spiritually grow and live a better way of being.

I have experienced personal spiritual guidance with my guardians Celia and Susannah. We have the honor of Celestial communication.  Spiritual unity is possible and is important to our own growth and education. Each of us has our own life with God and other Celestials and together we have the responsibility to share this with others. People need to know that Celestials are here to help guide us to a better future.  We no longer need priests or ministers to lead us.  Celestials are here to teach us and through Transmitter/Receivers (T/Rs) they show us improved ways and answer our many questions.  Thousands of transcripts are available on a great number of topics and sessions to share with us regarding Celestial knowledge as it pertains to humanity.

We have learned that we are living on a world that has been caught in rebellion for over 200,000 years and that it is only over the last 35 or so years that this has changed.  We are told it will take at least hundreds of years for our planet to recover.  We are greatly influenced by the rebellion mindset, which deeply affects our planet and its people.  As a result of this mindset, a small number of people have gained power and authority over much of humanity, and it is up to us to change this by changing ourselves.  We need to be schooled in the 7 core values of humanity: Life, Equality, Growth, Quality of Life and the value emotions of Empathy, Compassion and a generalized Love of humanity.

When correctly applied and lived, these values will bring our planet into a sustainable situation.  At the moment we are on our way to destruction, in the process of destroying our environment and abusing our world’s resources.  This must change by us taking care of our world, and of ourselves, by reducing our out-of-control population, by stopping our use of poisons in the air and the soil and by ending the burning of fossil fuels.  We must also greatly slow down the waste of all resources in our current use and the nature of our “throw-away” society, where we have built obsolescence into products that should last much longer. We could help save some resources by ending obsolescence alone.

In essence, our spiritual welfare includes our physical and environmental sustainability and welfare. In all things there should be moderation and conservation.  To be sustainable we have to change our mindset from procuring so many things, changing from wants to needs and refraining from getting the newest thing by using what we already have, if possible.  Experiencing balance in this area is satisfying. As to Spirit, the fundamental spiritual teaching of Jesus was the Fatherhood of God and the brotherhood and sisterhood of humanity, encouraging a profound love for each other.

My spiritual growth has come from both Celestial and earthly experiences.  Earthly growth has been from what I have read, from what I have heard from audiobooks and other people, and from experiences, by applying what I have learnt, seeing and feeling life in action.  I have learned patience and a love for others.  I have gained trust in my guardians and rely on them when in need, but also with everyday things as well.   I have come to value other people more than before. Empathy and compassion have played important roles in my growth. Life has been more gratifying as a result. Celestials have been important in what they have shown me through others and through what they have shared directly with me.  Many of us in this age of Celestial circuits opening are blessed with this communication.  It is a wonderful time to be alive.
